- The Master of Engineering Science (Agricultural Engineering) has been accorded full accreditation at the level of Professional Engineer by Engineers Australia and graduates are eligible for Graduate membership at the Professional Level.
- USQ is the only provider of Agricultural Engineering degrees in both Australia and New Zealand and has links to the world-class research center – Centre for Agricultural Engineering.
- With an emphasis on practical experience and industry-relevant courses, students will be thoroughly prepared for the engineering profession.
- In addition to the hands-on laboratory sessions and 60 days of industry experience, students will complete a research project and dissertation applying all their formal knowledge to a real-world problem. Whether this is sustainable agricultural production, the environmental impact of intensive agriculture or water allocation, their project will provide insight to the profession of an Agricultural Engineer.
- The research project and dissertation can also be a stepping stone to further research degrees, such as PhD.
