About this course:

  • The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program involves preparing a thesis that will make a substantial and original contribution to the specific subject area.
  • The Faculty of Engineering and IT focuses on multidisciplinary research centred on various key themes: field robotics; agricultural engineering; biomedical engineering and technologies; human-centred technology; complex systems; materials and structures; food processing; clean, intelligent energy networks; and water and the environment.
  • PhD candidates at the Faculty of Engineering may undertake research in one of the following disciplines:

  1. Aerospace engineering, mechanical and mechatronic engineering;
  2. Biomedical engineering;
  3. Chemical and biomolecular engineering; 
  4. Cvil engineering; 
  5. Electrical and information engineering; 
  6. Computer science
  7. Project management.
