About this course:
- Pursue students interests and enhance their career. The Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) (Honours) program is a fourth year of study during which they will conduct a research project and write a thesis under the supervision of a senior academic, developing specialist knowledge and invaluable research skills.
- Students will complete two units of study throughout their Honours year:
- Semester 1: Students will commence Honours A: Research Design, which covers quantitative and qualitative research methods and will enable you to develop your research proposal. You will then undertake Honours B: Applied Research Skills
- Semester 2. In this unit students will cultivate skills in data analysis and the interpretation of results. they will also learn how to write up and present your research findings. The Honours program culminates in a presentation and the submission of a scholarly thesis for examination, in the form of a journal manuscript.
