The Bachelor of International Studies, which combines the study of cultures and global society with the acquisition of advanced foreign language and communication skills and knowledge about global diversity and mobility, will equip students with transferable intercultural skills that are highly valued in today’s globalized job market.
The Bachelor of Economics will provide students with a sound understanding of today’s complex economic environment and the skills to design economic systems that promote welfare, fairness, and sustainability. Students will learn about how modern economies operate, trade and grow; the role of prices and markets in allocating scarce resources; and the sorts of policy interventions that can be introduced when economic outcomes are less than optimal.
