Academic Eligibility:
The Master of Information Systems is a two-year (200 point) full-time program. Depending on the number of years of work experience and their undergraduate qualification, students may be eligible for credit to the course to reduce it to either an 18-month (150 points) or 12 months (100 points) full-time program.
200 point program:
This degree is for students without work experience.
To be considered for entry, applicants must have completed:
An undergraduate degree in any discipline, with a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), or equivalent.
150 point program:
Up to 50 points of credit may be awarded to applicants who have (exact subjects credited depend on their background and experience)
Option 1
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline.
- With a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), or equivalent.
- And at least one year of documented relevant work experience.
Option 2
- A Graduate Certificate in Information Systems.
- With a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), or equivalent.
100 point program
Up to 100 points of credit may be awarded to applicants who have (exact subjects credited depend on their background and experience)
Option 1
- An undergraduate degree in Information Systems.
- With a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), or equivalent.
- And two years of documented relevant work experience.
Option 2
- A four-year Honours degree in Information Systems.
- With a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), or equivalent.
Option 3
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline.
- With a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), or equivalent.
- And at least one year of documented relevant work experience.
- And an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Information Systems with a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), or equivalent.
Option 4
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline.
- With a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), or equivalent.
- And an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Information Systems with a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), or equivalent.
Submission of GRE scores is not compulsory for this program, however, it is recommended to submit a minimum GRE-300 for better a chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
