- The Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry is a multidisciplinary degree that provides graduates with unique skills by bringing together studies in contemporary biology, biochemistry, pharmacology and essential chemistry. It encompasses all aspects of new drug design and development, from concept to clinic stages.
- Many steps are involved – from the design and synthesis of novel drug candidates to their biochemical effects, testing regimes, and regulatory and ethical considerations. In the Honours year, students will complete a supervised research project.
