In this degree, students will learn the foundation disciplines of bioinformatics, which includes biology (biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics), computing (algorithms, databases and programming), mathematics and statistics. Students will gain the skills to design and implement software for activities such as identifying the genes affected in specific cancer types.
