• This long-established program at Deakin offers the skills and knowledge needed to prepare Students for employment in the communications industries, across print, TV, radio and online. There is an emphasis on practical hands-on learning and gain experience and develop skills in communicating information in engaging, interesting and accessible ways across different media formats.
  • The curriculum covers news and feature writing, radio and TV reporting, multimedia and online journalism, local and international journalism and media ethics and law. In the final year undertake intensive news production work and an industry internship.
