Master of Laws:

  • develop an advanced and integrated knowledge of law and legal practice in selected areas addressing both international and domestic contexts.
  • develop sophisticated legal problem-solving skills by interpreting, analysing and applying the relevant case law and legislation
  • employ high- level advocacy and communication skills to present written or oral legal solutions to a range of audiences.
  • critically analyse and evaluate current legal and policy issues and develop or respond to legal reform proposals
  • students undertaking a major research component will also be able to conduct a complex legal research project and synthesise the outcome of research to a range of audiences
