The course also teach how to develop high level theoretical and empirical analysis and interpretation skills and use these to academically critique international issues, such as democratically informed citizenship, contemporary issues in politics and policy, national security, the challenges of modern terrorism, and contemporary regional politics in the Asia Pacific in an international context.
