- The University of Queensland offers a Master of Science in Speech Pathology Studies for a duration of 2.5 years.
- It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
- The profession of speech pathology is focused on the management of communication and/or swallowing difficulties. Communication problems may occur in the areas of speech, language, voice, fluency (stuttering), hearing, or literacy.
- Through this two and a half year full-time program, students will complete advanced coursework to develop their understanding of practice and research
- Students will be taught by award-winning teachers, researchers, and clinical educators who are among the best in Australia.

- Introduction to Speech Pathology Practice for graduates
- Voice, hearing, and fluency disorders
- Articulation and phonological disorders and clinical practice
- Early childhood language
- Students will gain the theoretical knowledge, professional attributes, and clinical and research skills to confidently pursue a career helping people who have challenges with speech and/or swallowing.
- During placements, students will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge acquired through coursework and research to practice and develop their clinical skills in real-life settings.
