• The Master of Science (Computer Science) consists of 72 units. Students entering with a bachelor degree in the same discipline will be eligible to apply to follow a 54-unit pathway.

  • The program covers both advanced computing areas and professional studies. It gives the students the opportunity to select coursework topics from a range of disciplines such as computer science, information technology, digital media, software engineering or mathematics.
  • A masters project is normally taken in the final two semesters of study and develops research, communication and technical skills.
  • Students will complete an in-depth investigation of a particular area under the guidance of a supervisor and can opt to research advanced areas of computer science such as robotics, video gaming and biomedical computer science, looking into aspects like brain modelling and rehabilitation gaming.
