I applied for Chandigarh University and GD Goenka University but I myself selected LPU over them because of better campus, placements and infrastructure. The university also maintains discipline inside the campus. The only thing that is wrong in lpu is it's too far apart buildings and more than necessary student intake. The exams accepted in lpu are lpunest, jee score, cuet score.
The timings of the classes are 8 am to 5 pm. All classes are held between these timings. For a course like btech cse, there's too much subjects in the entire syllabus which is too difficult to cover in a single semester.
During 5th and 6th semester, students with really good are able to secure internships and in the 7th semester, they are placed at good companies as well. The average package of the university is okay, around 5-6 lakhs per annum but due to too high competition, not much students are able to get good placements but there are many big tech giants such as Google which hire from lpu.
My yearly fees goes like 2,90,000 including all charges. Tuition fees is 120000 for btech cse but if scholarship is secured (which is 28% max), then tution fees goes 86400. Caution fees is 10,000 You have opt for mess separately which is 38,000 and currently increasing every year. Scholarships are provided on the basis of an online test called LPUNest of whose score decided the scholarship a student is eligible to gain. Maximum scholarship is 28% and and there are early decision benifits as well. My roommate is from a course in bba financial marketing and his total fees goes around 2,40,000 inclusive of all charges.
There are no fixed fests in lpu but there are some namely the induction, spectra, one india etc. These are only cultural programs and not some sort of dj nights. Libraries are well maintained. Classrooms are equipped comfortable seats and air conditioners. Sports department only points you out if you are already a good sportsman. You just get to showcase your talent but not improve it.
Hostel rooms are air conditioned and there is a cleaning service twice every week. Hostel also offers laundry services. Electricity sometimes goes off during summers but not for too long. Hostel mess in boys hostel 5 is good. The food is kept warm and fresh and the food is made better than other universities
Number of students in too big for a teacher. There are around 70 students in each class and the number of sections are too much. Some faculties are good but others are not very much. But, university provides students with a chance to change their teacher and also rate them at the end of everything semester. The btech cse exam pattern in one semester is as follows 4 Class Assessment Test 2 Big exams ( Mid term and End sem) Apart from that you are given a lot of side projects and online courses. There is a system of reappears as well. If you fail to pass the minimum criteria in a semester, you may give that exam again in the next semester by paying 350rs and try again and the same goes with the improvement exam.
placements in our collage is are way far better than othern collages the is an outstanding this to discuss and the and traning for the placement is the great where the main attraction is the clg faculty
I'd rate the course curriculum 4.5/5 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. Relevant aspects: - Industry-aligned curriculum - Project-based learning - Internships and industry exposure Preparation for real-world applications: - Curriculum focuses on practical skills - Encourages innovation and research Suggestions for improvement: - More emphasis on emerging technologies - Increased industry collaboration - Flexible curriculum to accommodate individual interests Exams: - Frequency: 2-3 per semester - Timing: Well-spaced, allowing adequate preparation - Difficulty: Moderate, with some challenging questions Teaching methods: - Engaging lectures - Interactive sessions - Room for improvement in incorporating more hands-on activities and guest lectures.
From the third year of our college student are eligible for placement and placement drive start recurting. About 80 to 90 percnet f students were placed and many more go for higher studies and many do goverment exams. Companies visited in lpu campus: 1.Capgemini,BOSCH,INTEL ,CICSO,PEGA,CISI,INFORMATICA,Google,MICROSOSFT,ACCENTURE,TCS,WIPRO,AMAZOM AND 200+ companies recurting from our cmapus. Highest international package 3cpa and highest domestic package is 64 lpa. My Plans after geeting the degee is campus placmment from lpu.
LPU placements are good at different aspect like package, location, remote work, etc. Almost each and every company hire at LPU. LPU students are selected for Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc. They have very well managed TPO (Training and Placement Office).
The courses are good also for programming languages you get a proper application to practice coding and have tests which are added in your final marks for every subject. There is a credit system that means few courses has more values in your final marks those are called star courses whose credit is 4 these are mainly programming languages in Btech CSE
From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements Microsoft tcs Wipro and many other Companies visited Percentage of students getting placements should be more than 70 percentage plans after getting the degree is to start an own mnc company
All I have heard is that the students become eligible for campus placements is after 7th semester of their course. Sum of the companies that visit the college are Amazon, Google, Jio, Reliance, Infosys, Rapido etc. The highest package recently was 50 lpa and the average package is around 8 to 10 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is around 80 to 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to find a good pain job of around 8 to 10 lakh per year.
I like that they teach in class and give some homework from which students can do practice and understand. And after every 1 units they take tests and after three units they take mid term exam and then after last 3 units they take end term of all 6 units it takes a time of 5 months
Actually placement is not so good and not so bad , if you are good in study and get rank under 10 student in your class and your communication skill is good then you are able to crack placement and internships
