Lpu has a easy application process with proper verification of all necessary documents. They have admission counselors to make the process easy. Eligibility depends upon the course which you are applying for and if any specialization required to avail for the course as such.
I chose this course because I like political science and to learn about political thinkers and their perspectives and also I like to learn about global governance and world politics which keeps us intact to the real world. The study material and curriculum helped me in gaining the knowledge. The difficulty level of exams is moderate. The questions are totally based upon the curriculum. Timing of exams is 2 hours.
Lpu provides many internship opportunities with job training, study tours and self improvement programs. Students get stipend of upto 15000 per month. Companies like microsoft, Infosys are associated in industry internship.
The placement rate is good. More than 600+ companies offer over 2000+ placements. The average package is 6 lpa and the highest is 54 lpa. Students become eligible for campus placements from last semester of the course. Almost 80-90% students get placed.
I would say the fees is not that affordable but they have provided the option of paying it semester wise soit reduces some kind of financial burden. Students can avail scholarship benefits. I haven't yet undertaken any campus employment so I don't have much idea about it.
Lpu has well structured infrastructure that cater academic and extracurricular needs. One can see a diverse crowd in the campus which helps in growth and learning. Campus is neet and clean with all the safety measures. Many cultural events and extracurricular activities are held. Classrooms are air conditioned and has smart boards.
Overall learning experience is good. The teachers are interactive and easily approachable. They teach in a simple and understandable way. All have master's, PhD level qualifications in their respective teaching subject.
I plan to do M.Phil as I wish to become a Clinical Psychologist with a proper RCI license. In an MPhil students work in hospitals as residents. However, I'm also preparing for UGC-NET to keep my options open.
Current curriculum is bit old style not upto date with current reference in political science related aspects but in class current reference are always used filling the gap in curriculum exams are moderated and challenging consist of both application aspects and knowledge
