The classic core of the historical sciences is a broadly based education covering all three major epochs from ancient history to the history of the Middle Ages to the history of modern times. The thematic historical sub-subjects of economic and social history as well as cultural and media history are assigned to the respective major epochs. The aim of the course is to impart basic scientific knowledge of the methods and working techniques that are used for the critical analysis of sources and research texts. Here the competence is acquired to present scientific knowledge objectively and linguistically.
